Sign-on Bonus: This position is eligible for a $6000 sign-on bonus to eligible candidates. Eligible candidates must be newly hired to UH and have at least 1yr of RN experience. University Hospitals is offering a $6,000 sign on bonus, minus applicable taxes, for designated regular full-time RN positions to experienced RN’s (1 years or more) hired externally. This position is not remote and located at the UH Management Services Center in Shaker Heights, OH. It is part-time, 24 hours per week from 11am-11pm Monday-Friday, rotating weekends/holidays. Responsible for performing aspects of the Patient Flow Management process ensuring that transfers, patient placement and related activities occur in a timely, safe and accurate fashion. This includes providing clinical assessment for patients being placed through the Center for Patient Flow Management. A Brief Overview The Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support in an outpatient setting. This role includes but not limited to rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, documenting in the electronic medical record, assisting with procedures, supporting providers, and promoting efficient patient flow while delivering patient-centered care. What You Will Do Facilitates unit operations by managing patient flow. Responsible for all front desk duties specific to department, including scheduling patients, collecting and verifying patient payor information and other patient documentation.
